Hi please help I am having a nervous breakdown can not think.
A ship is due north of a lighthouse. It sails on a bearing of 140 for 40 km until it is due east of the lighthouse.
What is the distance of the ship from the lighthouse when it lies due east of the lighthouse.
Please can anyone help me and show me how to work this out. I am getting myself in a complete muddle.
