Not sure about part 1)

For part 2)

one multiple of 24, 15 and 36 is 24x15x36 = 12960

Now the largest 6 figure number is 999999 but this is not divisible by 12960

but 999999 / 12960 = 77.16.... so choosing 77

12960 x 77 = 997920

So I make it 997920.

I hope that is correct for you.

hello,

As far as the second part is concerned, take out the LCM of all the 3 numbers which is 360 and divide 999999 (being largest 6 digit number) by the LCM we obtained i.e. 360. The quotient is 2777.775. Leaving the decimals we take 2777 and multiply 360 by that to get the largest 6 digit number i.e. 999720 that is divisible by 15, 24 and 36. By the by, if we multiply 360 by 2778 we will get 7 digit number which we don't want. I hope this is clear to you. Feel free to contact me anytime during day in India as I am residing in India.

All the best.
