Cartesian equation from parametric

Hi,

i can normally do normal ones but trig types cause me real hassle

the question says find the cartesian equation for x=secθ and y=cosecθ

what identity do i use. Really stuck.

x=secθ and y=cosecθ
x=1/cosθ
cosθ = 1/x

y= 1/sinθ
sinθ = 1/y

Use the identity
cosθ + sinθ = 1

(1/x)+(1/y) = 1
