I have 3 scatter diagrams, A]showing a negative corrolation, B] no corrolation & C] low positive corrolation.

Questions asked, state which of the diagrams A, B or C could represent the following situations

Situation
1)The electrcity bill & size of house
2)The outside temperature and the amount of gas used for central heating for a house
3)The height of a person and the amount they earn in 1 year

I would say 1 would be A, 2 C & 3 B, is this right. Would I be right in my thinking, validation would be appreciate. ;)

Thanks
Colette

1) As the size of the house increases the cost for heating will go up. So positive correlation C

2) As the temperature decreases the amount of gas used for heating increases so negative correlation A

3) Is correct, it is B

Hope that explains it for you.
