could you solve these 2 questions for me plzzzzzzzzzz?

1) In 1994, 260 million pounds was spent on corn flakes. Bilal's accounted for 3/5 of this total.
How much was spent on Bilal's cornflakes?


2) A man left money in his will as follows he left 1/2 to the National Turst , 5/12 to other charities and the rest 1500 pounds to his local church.

How much money did he leave to the National Trust?

1) 3/5 x £260000000 = £156000000

2) Fraction given to the local church = 1-(1/2 + 5/12)
= 1/12

Since 1/12 represents £1500 then The amount given to the national trust is 6/12
So the amount = 1500 x 6 = £9000
